Year 12 student Benjamin Creanor recently participated in the META High School Esports Championship Final playing NBA2K, where he won three out of three games.  This win playing the NBA basketball game, qualifies him to go straight through to the grand final this Saturday.

Since entering META, Ben, aka Chooka, has also been signed by the LG Dire Wolves Professional Esports Team, and has a manager.  What a wonderful achievement.  See the Wolves announcement here:

Ben is pictured with his regional final trophy that he received a few weeks ago. Also pictured is the Playoff Bracket, which shows the playoff journey Ben travelled through last Saturday (note ‘Damascus College’ in the grand final).

We wish Ben all the very best for Saturday and to congratulate him for being recognised for his talent by the recent signing with the Wolves – fantastic effort!
