St Francis de Sales College is a Catholic R-12 co-educational College located in Mount Barker, South Australia. Students attend the College from the Adelaide Hills region and outlying areas. Our Catholic identity embraces children and families from diverse backgrounds, cultural and religious contexts. With a strong focus on learning and wellbeing, restorative justice principles underpin respectful relationships that are at the heart of our College Community.

At St Francis de Sales College, we welcome our families into a community that can walk alongside them in partnership, providing every opportunity for success academically and in their child’s personal development, so their lasting experience of the community is to “Belong for Life”.
Our recently developed College-wide Vision for Learning calls us to work Together, to Discover and Grow, in an empowering and supportive environment that aims to inspire a love of learning and a commitment to excellence.
Excitingly, with the development of our Catholic Early Learning Centre for pre-school aged children, our College community’s partnership with our families can commence even earlier. This wonderful development for our College is a further growth from the foundations of the St Scholastica school, opened on this site by the Sisters of Mercy in 1902, with our current College continuing to be positively impacted by the tradition and heritage of the Mercy sisters.
