On behalf of all AMSSA members we wish to congratulate our past Executive Officer Ms. Kitty Guerin OAM who was acknowledged for her contribution to education in the 2025 Australia Day honours list.
Kitty was the past Executive Officer of AMSSA for 10 years. Kitty was a member of AHISA whilst serving as Principal at St Clares College, Waverly (1998-2003) and Our Lady of Mercy College, Parramatta (2004-2013). Kitty has served as Board Chair of Brigidine College, St Ives and Santa Sabina College, Strathfield as well as numerous committees representing catholic education, Mercy education and Religious Institutes.
On behalf of all association members, we wish to congratulate Kitty on her award, and we sent her some beautiful flowers in recognition of this.
